Privacy Policy

Who we are
TL Blinds Co (“we,” “us”) is a custom roller blinds business. You can reach us at tlblindsco@gmail.com or (204) 612-0586.
What we collect and why
- Contact details (name, email, phone, shipping address) — so we can quote, produce, ship, and install your order, and follow up about it.
- Order details (window sizes, fabric selections, control options, room labels, install preference) — required to manufacture and install the correct product.
- Payment information (card number, expiration, CVC) — collected only to process your order. When live, payments are handled by our payment processor (Stripe); we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
- Discount status — if you share our site to unlock 15% off, we store a small flag in your browser's local storage so the discount auto-applies at checkout. It does not identify you.
- Basic technical data (IP address, browser type, pages viewed, timestamps) — collected automatically by our hosting provider to keep the site secure and functional.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
How we use your information
- Preparing quotes and fulfilling orders.
- Scheduling installation and warranty service.
- Responding to inquiries you send us.
- Preventing fraud and keeping the site running.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers we need to run the business — for example, our payment processor, our website host, our email provider, and the shipping/installation partners who need your address to deliver or install your order. We do not share your information with advertisers or data brokers.
Facebook sharing
When you click “Share on Facebook,” Facebook opens in a separate window and follows its own privacy policy. We don't see who you shared with or what you posted; we only know that you opened the share flow on your device.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for the length of the applicable warranty (lifetime for professional installs, one year for self-install), plus the period required by tax and accounting rules. Contact-only inquiries are kept while they're useful to answer follow-up questions, then deleted on request.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to stop contacting you, by emailing tlblindsco@gmail.com. We'll respond within a reasonable time. Some information (for example, completed sales records) may need to be retained to meet legal obligations.
Cookies and local storage
We use only the storage needed to make the site work — for example, remembering the items in your quote, your install preference, and whether you've unlocked the share-to-save discount. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including serving the site over HTTPS and limiting access to order data to people who need it. No online service can promise perfect security; if we ever learn of a breach that affects you, we will notify you promptly.
Children
The site is intended for adults ordering window coverings. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we collect or use information, we'll update this page and change the “Last updated” date above.
