Job Title: In-Home Sales & Installation Consultant

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and professional In-Home Sales & Installation Consultant to join our team as an independent contractor. This role involves generating leads through platforms like Facebook Marketplace, responding to customer inquiries, conducting in-home consultations, and installing blinds. The consultant will guide clients through the entire process, from selection to installation, ensuring a seamless and satisfactory experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Create and post engaging advertisements on Facebook Marketplace and other relevant platforms to attract potential customers. Ads will be posted for free, and training will be provided on how to post them effectively.

  • Customer Engagement: Professionally respond to customer inquiries, providing accurate information and addressing questions promptly.

  • Appointment Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule free in-home estimates with potential clients.

  • Consultations: Visit clients’ homes with sample products and catalogs, take precise measurements, and assist clients in selecting appropriate fabrics and designs.

  • Sales Process Management: Guide clients through the sales process, from initial contact to finalizing orders.

  • Installation: Set up installation dates with customers, install brackets and blinds, and ensure a professional and secure setup.

  • Tool Requirements: Must have a cordless drill for installing brackets.

 

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous sales experience, particularly in in-home sales or customer service roles, is preferred. Experience in basic installations or handyman work is an asset.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.

  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with social media platforms, especially Facebook Marketplace, for lead generation and customer interaction.

  • Detail-Oriented: Ability to take accurate measurements and provide attention to detail in all aspects of the sales and installation process.

  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift and install window treatments safely.

  • Requirements: Valid driver’s license, full-time access to a reliable vehicle, and the ability to pass a criminal background check.

  • Tools: Must have a cordless drill for installation purposes.

 

Compensation & Benefits:
